Owner Richard Evans in dreamland following His Dream's victory

The new year will be welcomed in with a few sore heads in Richard Evans' household, as His Dream delivered a memorable victory in the 3m2f conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle.
The Jonjo O'Neill-trained five-year-old is owned by Local Parking Security Limited, who were sponsoring the card for the fourth consecutive year.Based in Warwick, the company was formed by Evans, who was on hand with wife Donna to welcome in the winner and said: "All the family's here so we're over the moon."To win on New Year's Eve in a race you've sponsored is a dream come true. It's the best moment we've ever had."

His Dream had not fired on his last three starts, and Evans added: "He went off the boil so we kept him off the track and he's come back and run terrific."
