Oskar Denarius completed a hat-trick for the Ben Pauling yard when landing the feature £12,700 handicap hurdle under David Bass and that winning run might not be over, according to the trainer.

The seven-year-old, who escaped a penalty for last week's success at Worcester as it came under conditional Bryony Frost, made virtually all under Bass to record a six-length win as the 6-4 favourite.

"He's going the right way, isn't he?" Pauling said.
