Laytown is no longer a secret. Word is out and it is spreading like wildfire. They're even coming from Lambourn now after Jamie Osborne got whiff of it.

“We were on our way back from Norway last month after everything went wrong with Boomerang Bob [ground turned heavy] and we thought 'where can we go where we have a proper chance of winning?' Laytown. Let's go to Laytown we said. So here we are,” explained Osborne.

“It started off with one. We were just bringing one. One became two. Two became three and then Ian [Barrett, head of the Melbourne 10 Racing Syndicate] said why don't we try to fill the card.”
