Options open as War Decree earns 16-1 quote for Guineas
Moore predicts bright future for impressive winner
War Decree will tread a different path to last year's winner Galileo Gold, but the destination remains the same with connections of Aidan O'Brien's impressive Vintage Stakes winner eyeing up 2,000 Guineas domination.
While Hugo Palmer's superstar went from the Vintage to the Prix Jean-Luc Legardere en route to Guineas glory, War Decree's path to Newmarket is likely to be plotted via either Doncaster, for the Champagne Stakes, or the Curragh, for the National Stakes.
On whether his length-and-three-quarter success had put him in contention for the Qipco-sponsored Classic, Paul Smith, son of part owner Derrick, said: "I'd say he'd have to be, he's improving all the time and has learned a lot from his last run."
