If you saw a horse dash to a classy victory in the north in the last week or so, chances are that it was trained by Bryan Smart and ridden by Connor Beasley.

Nameitwhatyoulike emulated stablemates Alpha Delphini and Alicante Dawn to complete an eight-day Listed race hat-trick for trainer and jockey, holding off favourite Danzeno by a length and a half.

"I will wake up tomorrow, it feels like it is a dream!" the trainer said. "The horses are running well and Connor is riding out of his skin - he could be one of the best in the north eventually."
