Twenty-four hours after a narrow defeat at Musselburgh, the Roger Fell-trained Muntadab went one better in Leicester's Wreake Handicap.

He was on the wrong end of a photo-finish in Scotland but looked in perfect shape when striding clear under Cameron Noble to defeat Shady McCoy and claim his second success of the year.

Fell said: "I took him up to Musselburgh yesterday and he was rolling in his box after the race so I knew he was well. I got him back as quick as I could and he had eaten up perfectly so we thought we'd try him again today.
