Mundatab relishes conditions to keep Fell runners in winning form

Roger Fell gave multiple Group 1-winning trainer David O'Meara his start in the profession but could reflect proudly on his own results in a career he began in his sixties after Muntadab delivered his 40th winner.

Muntadab, a cheap buy after six starts for Sir Michael Stoute, made all under Tony Hamilton in the £20,000 handicap to notch his fifth win for Fell, who recently passed his first anniversary with the licence.

"I thought he might have done that," said Fell, 63. "I just hope the handicapper doesn't clobber him too much. I don't think it was that good a race.
