Luke Morris may have lost out to Adam Kirby in what has become their annual all-weather champion jockey duel but he continued his winning ways with a 740-1 four-timer on the Polytrack.

He had champion jockey Jim Crowley partially to thank for the feat as he took over from him on his second winner Dusty Blue for trainer David Loughnane, who followed up with Bouclier in the mile handicap.

The 28-year-old is setting the sort of pace that gives him the chance to improve his calendar-year best of 189, opening up the possibility of joining an exclusive club of jockeys to ride 200 winners in a year.
