Mishal Star provides the perfect present for newlywed trainer and wife

Covid law changes meant trainer Tom Ward and his wife Alex brought forward their wedding a week to last Saturday and their first runner as a married couple was a winner when Mishal Star landed the 6f nursery.
After their 30-person wedding day, a mini two-day break in the Cotswolds was followed by a more than worthwhile trip to Nottingham, where Mishal Star ran out a stylish length-and-a-half winner under Harry Bentley, who sealed a double on Mokaatil in the 6f handicap.
The In The Mix Racing-owned juvenile is set for a step up in class with Ward considering a couple of Listed assignments.
