Memorable treble for Meade as Snow Falcon seals the deal
If Carlsberg’s advertising boffins ever venture into the world of racing they would scarcely find a better pin-up than Noel Meade, with the trainer beaming from start to finish at Down Royal on Saturday after securing a memorable treble.
Hot on the heels of Road To Respect’s superb display in the JNwine.com Champion Chase, Meade struck with Snow Falcon in the Grade 2 second-season novice chase, all this coming after sending out exciting sort Brace Yourself to win the earlier maiden hurdle.
Road To Respect couldn’t have been more impressive in advertising his Gold Cup claims in the feature while Snow Falcon is not one to overlook in the staying sphere judging by how he swotted aside last season’s JLT Novices’ Chase winner Shattered Love and Monalee.
