Conditional rider Tom Broughton, 20, had a day he will never forget, riding his second winner under rules when partnering Chic Name for trainer Richard Hobson and the Boom Partnership to win the £25,000 Heineken UK Highland National.

"You dream about days like this," he said after the six-year-old had stayed on strongly to beat Welsh raider Lac Sacre by a length and a quarter.
