McCreery vows to take his time with Bloomfield after gruelling Listed victory

Willie McCreery is keen to step Bloomfield up in class but will resist the temptation to turn her out hastily after the gruelling nature of her Noblesse Stakes victory at Cork.

Although Billy Lee sent on the 4-5 favourite just over two furlongs out in the 1m4f Listed race, the writing looked to be on the wall when Clear Skies travelled smoothly upsides. However, Bloomfield showed she is game as well as promising.

Instead of curling up in the bottomless underfoot conditions, she rallied and ultimately collected by four and a quarter lengths, with Glamorous Approach keeping on to deny Clear Skies second.
