Donald McCain and Will Kennedy continued their burgeoning partnership when What Happens Now completed a hat-trick against the cream of the southern camps in the 2m7f novice handicap chase.

The winner is appropriately named after what happened to the Cheshire trainer last season when principal owners Paul and Clare Rooney took their horses away to decimate McCain's numbers.
