It was a case of double-delight for Lambourn trainer Joseph Tuite after the success of Madam Dancealot in the 6f fillies’ maiden as he ended a losing run and saddled his first ever winner at his local course.

Tuite said: “The horses have been running a bit in and out for the last couple of months so a winner was very much needed and when you train only a few miles away from the course it’s always nice to get the first victory on the board.”
