Love is in the air for Clover as trainer celebrates first success

Tom Clover was able to celebrate his first success as a trainer after Declarationoflove put in a professional performance to win the 5f novices’ stakes under Andrea Atzeni.

Clover has not been training long, but has already had to endure some of the frustrations of the job - such as horses running well without winning and races not going to plan.

However, things went the way of Declarationoflove and Clover said: “The horses have been running great but to get that first winner is a monkey off your back, it really is.
