Longstanding allies Bridgwater and Scudamore strike with Buble

The maiden hurdle was an opportunity for Warren Greatrex and Richard Johnson to get their new link-up off to a perfect start, but they had to settle for second with Major Davis, as Buble struck for a partnership that stretches back nearly 30 years.

The eight-year-old is trained by David Bridgwater and was ridden by Tom Scudamore, who teamed up to make the frame in the 2012, 2013 and 2014 Cheltenham Gold Cups with The Giant Bolster.

However, their association goes way back.
