Longsdon back in winning groove after American adventure

Fresh from his American adventure with Sharp Rise, Charlie Longsdon saddled his first winners since when Monty's Award landed the 2m bumper and Monbeg Charmer easily took the first division of the maiden hurdle.

Sharp Rise finished third behind Rawnaq in the American Grand National at Far Hills on Saturday and is staying Stateside to contest the Colonial Cup at Camden in South Carolina in about three weeks.
