Classy sprinter Line Of Reason enjoyed a drop in class to post his first win in more than a year in the feature Class 3 5f handicap.

The eight-year-old was a winner at Listed level in his pomp a few years ago and Joe Fanning had good reason to get off market rival Marnie James to ride him.

Trainer Paul Midgley has quite a knack with these sprinters and the 2-1 favourite was never going to be beaten.
