Letting a youngster do what he wants may not work for anyone home schooling at present but it turned out okay for Karl Burke.

Giving up on trying to teach the free-going Wonderwork to settle and letting him bowl along in front resulted in victory under Clifford Lee in the three-year-old 5f handicap, the sprinter's first since a debut success at Thirsk last August.
