Brian Nolan thinks he has a filly capable of making a breakthrough at Group/Listed level in Laurel Wreath after the three-year-old scored in the 5½f maiden for older horses by a length and a half.

In the hands of Rory Cleary, the daughter of Hot Streak made her third start a winning one as she quickened clear nicely inside the final furlong and readily held the late charge of the more experienced Call Of The Jungle.

Laurel Wreath was taking a considerable step up in class here having been an unlucky second in a maiden at Sligo the previous week, and Nolan intends to waste no time in taking on hotter company next time.
