Kingscote rides another winner for Haggas with Aplomb

Aplomb has been competing in some big-field handicaps without success this season, but the William Haggas-trained four-year-old was able to master five rivals in the feature 6f handicap.

Back to his last winning mark of 88, Aplomb was value for a bit more than the official winning distance as he denied Broken Spear by half a length.

Richard Kingscote was aboard the winner, who was midfield in the Ayr Silver Cup the previous weekend and took his record for Haggas to 33 per cent (four from 12) for the year.
