Kill zone strikes again as Kevin Brogan lands third winner in a row
Kill is responsible for arguably the finest jump jockey of all time, but the small village in County Kildare might not be done when it comes to producing riding talent after Kevin Brogan made it three winners from his last three rides when landing the 3m1½f handicap hurdle for conditionals and amateurs on Jimmy Bell.
Like a certain Ruby Walsh, Brogan hails from the parish not far from Punchestown racecourse, but the Cotswolds yard of Jonjo O'Neill is now his home and he partnered a winner for the trainer at Stratford last week before another success for Adrian Keatley at Ayr on Saturday.
The John O'Shea-trained Jimmy Bell was making it three on the spin for the 20-year-old, who had a spell of work experience with Walsh's colourful father Ted before a stint with Robbie McNamara.
