Just Maybe brings up landmark win for trainer Murphy

Mike Murphy will have fond memories of this Kempton meeting as Just Maybe's win in the 6f maiden auction stakes brought up 100 career wins for the trainer.

Murphy, who has been training for ten years, was understandably delighted to bring up the landmark win, although he had not been quite as confident as the punters who backed the son of Mayson into 4-1 from an opening show of 7-1.

Murphy said: "I knew he was a nice horse but you're never quite sure what you are going to come up against in these maidens. But I'm delighted we won – it's great for the yard to get the 100 up."
