Joseph O'Brien strikes with first runner at track as smart juvenile winner completes great weekend for Paul Byrne

Dignam survived a blunder after the last to make a winning start to his career over obstacles in the 2m1f juvenile hurdle and give Joseph O'Brien and JJ Slevin a first winner at the course.
The 1-4 favourite, who won once on the Flat in Ireland and is rated 88, travelled much the best in the five-runner contest and moved clear approaching two out.
He looked to have the race secured approaching the last but gave favourite backers a major scare when pecking on landing. It did not impact his momentum too much on the short run-in as he scored by four and three-quarter lengths.
The winner completed an excellent weekend for owner Paul Byrne after the Gavin Cromwell-trained Ballysax Hank landed the Summer Plate at Market Rasen on Saturday.
Double up
Sue Gardner only has two jumps horses in training at the moment but the pair provided the Devon trainer with a 52-1 double.
Testflight won the 3m2f handicap chase before Stinginhisstep bolted clear in the 2m2½f handicap hurdle.
Gardner told Sky Sports Racing: "I think Stinginhisstep will be a nice horse, it might take another 12 months. He's not easy, but we've got him settled at home and he's better on the racecourse."
