Trainer Johnny Murtagh is no stranger to success on the Flat but the former five-time champion jockey saddled his first National Hunt winner at Limerick on Friday, courtesy of Prosecution.

The Paul McKeon-owned five-year-old had some decent form to his name on the level, peaking at a mark of 79, and obliged in rated novice hurdle company under conditional Liam McKenna.

"I'm absolutely thrilled," said Murtagh of the 9-2 scorer. "We bought him for the Flat but he's been frustrating with all his seconds, he has plenty of ability.
