Jason Hart helps Zephlyn reverse form and get back to winning ways in feature handicap

Zephlyn managed only third behind Marbuzet when sent off favourite at Ayr last time but the Ewan Whillans-trained six-year-old reversed the form with that rival to land the feature 2m handicap.
Marbuzet was 13-8 favourite to confirm his three-and-a-half-length superiority over Zephlyn on their last clash and the market leader was meeting the latter, who had been ridden by claimer Kaiya Fraser in Scotland, on 2lb better terms.
However, Zephlyn benefited from handy tactics when reunited with Jason Hart to fend off Marbuzet by a length and a quarter.
Hart is the only rider to win on the six-year-old and after the pair's fourth victory he told Racing TV: "I didn't ride him last time and it was very tactical. It's not the way he needs riding."
Cascade Hall finished a place ahead of Zephlyn at Ayr but was fifth on this occasion and Hart added: "The favourite and second favourite got the run of the race at Ayr and it turned into a sprint. He's a horse you need to be going flat out from the get go."
Orr on target
Far Ahead was third behind subsequent Group 3 runner-up Stanhope Gardens on his final run last year and the Richard Fahey-trained three-year-old made a successful reappearance in the 7f novice on his first start since being gelded.
It was the first leg in a double for jockey Oisin Orr, who got Made All off the mark at the 17th attempt in the 1m4f handicap. Made All was making a successful stable debut for Sam England, who also won Southwell's 2m novice handicap hurdle with Grand Scheme.
Shaw strikes
Harrison Shaw rode his first winner for trainer Adrian Nicholls on Tees Aggregates in the 5f handicap.
