William Haggas's fine start to September continued when he combined with Cieren Fallon for a 261-1 treble, headed by Extremely Zain's success in the Garrowby Stakes.
The trainer and jockey had won the Listed prize with Elmonjed 12 months earlier and kept the race in the yard as Extremely Zain returned to winning ways for the trainer's eighth win of the month.
Extremely Zain began his career with three straight victories, including one at York, before finishing fourth and seventh on his next two starts. However, a drop back to six furlongs for the first time since his debut proved the key, as Fallon drove him to a half-length success.
The winning rider told Racing TV: "He's a very good horse. I just think he's been getting quicker with his races and has shown a lot of speed. It was a bold decision to come back to six, but it was the right one.
"I thought that was a very good performance, beating some very good horses. He's very inexperienced as a sprinter, so hopefully he'll get better as I think he's very talented."
Extremely Zain completed the middle leg of Haggas and Fallon's three-timer, which began with Mezzo Forte getting off the mark in the 7f maiden.
The Wootton Bassett colt was fifth on his debut in June but made all this time, scoring by two and a half lengths at 100-30.
The treble was completed by the 10-1 chance Power Fizz, who, in the same silks as Extremely Zain, edged out Quest For Fun by a neck in the 7f handicap.
