In-form Edwards continues winning spree with 26-1 double

Lee Edwards can seldom have known a spell like it, as a double on Black Buble and Heavenly Promise made it four wins from his last six rides. What's more, he was not far off a treble with Truckers Highway going close in between.

On Thursday, Edwards enjoyed a rare Listed success on Midnight Target at Cheltenham, and a day later he travelled to Ayr for just one ride, which ran well to finish third.

Bangor is more typical of the tracks at which he usually plies his trade, and he must have fancied his chances of coming away with something.
