Hollie Doyle secured her first winner at Ayr after Harrison Point ran out a game winner of the 7f handicap to continue the jockey's red-hot partnership with Archie Watson.

The three-year-old was under sustained pressure inside the final furlong but held off the challenge of Hajjam to to build on his solid ninth in the Britannia last month and give Doyle her 23rd winner of the season for Watson.

"It's good to get that first winner up here," said Doyle. "We've never doubted Harrison Point's ability but just needed to get his confidence back.
