Henderson hopes Mister Fisher can develop into Supreme contender

Mister Fisher was cut to a general 14-1 (from around 33) for the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle after registering an impressive success in the opening 2m novice event.

The four-year-old, who was narrowly beaten at Newbury last time, travelled prominently under Nico de Boinville before quickening up smartly over the last hurdle for a two-and-three-quarter length victory.

Trainer Nicky Henderson, who last landed this race with Altior in 2015, said: "I thought he won it very well. We'll have a look for a race at the end of January, there are lots of options and he'll have to go somewhere."
