'He loved that today' - Cisco Disco steps lively to land hat-trick and continue his Ayr affair

Cisco Disco made it three wins on the bounce at the track with a commanding success in the opening 1m2f handicap for trainer Mike Smith.
The seven-year-old handled the heavy ground with ease under Oisin McSweeney and had no trouble defying a 4lb penalty for his previous victory, pulling clear to win by a length and three-quarters.
The victory marked a fourth win at the Scottish venue for the course specialist, and Smith told Racing TV: “He loved that today. Oisin says he feels fresh and well coming to the end of the season, which is nice, but he’s done so well that he probably deserves a holiday.
“Camille [Macdonald] is a very good owner. She’s supportive but doesn’t interfere. As long as the horse is well and you keep her informed, she’s superb to deal with because it makes the job easy.”
Doubles all round
Michael Dods and Paul Mulrennan successfully teamed up to take the mile novice with 2-7 favourite Northern Brave, and both jockey and trainer went on to complete doubles later on the card.
Northern Brave had no trouble scoring on her second start, bounding five lengths clear of his three rivals, and Mulrennan enjoyed another easy success on Jim Goldie’s Dwindling Funds in the 7f handicap.
Dods completed his own double when Woven secured his first win of the year under Sean Kirrane in the 6f handicap, battling through the field in the final two furlongs to score by half a length.
