Denis Hogan looks to have another progressive sprinter on his hands in the shape of the Dandy Man filly Boughtinthedark, who became a lovely spare ride for 7lb claimer Paddy Harnett in the sprint handicap.

A convincing success under Joe Doyle in a course-and-distance handicap 13 days earlier led to the filly going up 15lb, and consequently Hogan's 7lb claimer Joey Sheridan was jocked up for the ride this time.

However, Sheridan failed to submit the IHRB health screening questionnaire the previous day, which anyone working at a race meeting must complete under the strict protocols for meetings behind closed doors. Hogan's search for another 7lb claimer led him to Harnett, and he proved an able deputy.
