A Hare Breath is set to go the Cheltenham Festival without another race after underlining he runs best fresh by scooping the £60,000 handicap hurdle.

He won at Cheltenham two years ago after 294 days off and after striking again from a 242-day absence trainer Ben Pauling will take the hint.

"If I'm being sensible I should put him away till March and I think we'll do that, look after him until the County Hurdle," said Pauling.
