Haggas 'thrilled to bits' with his highest-ever tally of winners in Britain
Celebrations are in order at Somerville Lodge after William Haggas reached his highest tally of winners in Britain in 31 years of training when Dramatic Queen landed division one of the mile fillies’ novice stakes.
The two-year-old’s triumph ensured this will numerically be Haggas’s best season, topping last year’s total of 137 victories in Britain.
Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum’s daughter of Kitten’s Joy also provided a landmark success for James Doyle, who has now reached the century mark in Britain for the third time in four years.
