Second strings dominated at Munich on Tuesday when Guignol, ridden by Michael Cadeddu, made all the running to win Germany's final Group 1 of the year in Stall Ullmann's second colours at odds of 33-1.

Godolphin's two challengers filled the placings with second string Racing History just pipping Hawkbill by a nose for second place. The Ullmann stable's first string Savoir Vivre started 6-4 favourite under Christophe Soumillon but could finish only fifth.
