From Far Hills to nearby pastures, Gordon Elliott's horses are in the sort of form that has seen him go so close to dethroning Willie Mullins as champion trainer in the last two seasons.

After the adventure of Jury Duty's American Grand National success in New Jersey less than 24 hours before, the more trodden path of the feature Grade B handicap chase at Cork went to the improving Penny Jane under Denis O'Regan.

It looked as though it might have been a struggle for the recent Galway winner turning in, but she came through and went on after the last to beat bottomweight Lakemilan by a couple of lengths.
