Golden moment for apprentice Cox as Silverrica strikes

It is unclear if Silverrica is Georgia Cox's favourite horse, but the six-year-old must be on the shortlist after a gutsy victory in the apprentice handicap.

Cox, who completed a double on Lapilli later on the card, has developed a lovely understanding with the mare, who was recording back-to-back wins in the race.

Off 3lb higher than 12 months ago, Silverrica was representing local trainer Malcolm Saunders, who has now won with four of his last nine runners.
