Golden day for the Freemasons and Palmer's Murad Khan

Windsor can add another feather to its cap as it put one over the other royal course down the road when the Freemasons chose the Thameside track for dipping their toe into racing sponsorship for the first time.

Formed 300 years ago in 1717, the society supported the whole card and also organised the Tony Hadley concert.

"We've even sponsored the free funfair," said pro grand master Peter Lowndes after handing out the feature prize after the Golden Jubilee Handicap.
