Ghaiyyath read the script when running out an impressive winner of the Masar Godolphin Group 3 Autumn Stakes in Sheikh Mohammed's all blue colours.

William Buick was riding the scopey son of Dubawi for the first time in the mile contest but you would not have known it as he blitzed clear out of the Dip to master Dream Today after which he was cut to 20-1 (from 25) by Ladbrokes for next year's Derby.

Charlie Appleby is looking to the future with the winner, who was backing up an equally impressive win over course and distance at the Cambridgeshire meeting.
