Leading owner-breeder Hamdan Al Maktoum paid a visit to the track and would have liked what he saw from Mokarris, who produced a sparkling performance to win the £25,500 Listed Rose Bowl Stakes.

The breeze-up buy won well on his debut at Haydock, but did not fire on soft ground in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
