TIPPERARY

Leading jumps trainer Henry de Bromhead has proved a dab hand in the past year or so with the small string of horses he has for the Flat, and he made the breakthrough success into stakes level at Tipperary on Thursday evening as Gorane ran out a game winner of the Listed Kilfrush Stud Abergwaun Stakes.

The daughter of Dream Ahead was given a terrific drive by Declan McDonogh as she held off the late challenge of fellow three-year-old Snowstar to score by half-a-length.
