Galileo Chrome earned a step up to Pattern company after a six-length success in the 1m2f contest for trainer Joseph O'Brien.

The three-year-old, who got off the mark at the Curragh last month, justified 4-7 favouritism when powering clear of Masteroffoxhounds.

"We're delighted with him," said O'Brien. "His maiden form has worked out really well. He's a big horse and we're taking baby steps. He'll probably step into Listed or Group company next. He could go for a race at Irish Champions Weekend [September 12-13]."
