Page Fuller moved a step closer to the amateur lady riders' title with her tenth winner of the championship, again making the most of a spare ride.

Jamie Snowden's amateur rider has seen her luck change with a vengeance as she missed four months early in the amateur season (it runs from 21 May last year to 9 June) and without that she might have given James King, top of the men's table with 15 winners, a race for bragging rights.

Fuller, stretching three clear of Emma Todd, rode a double at Stratford just over two weeks ago including a spare on Sgt Bull Berry and grabbed her chance again when called on by Chris Down, the owner, breeder and trainer of Foxy Act, 20-1 outsider of the three runners in the 2m2½f mares' novice hurdle.
