Bryony Frost appears at her most comfortable when dominating races and proved the case again as she guided Regulation to a Frodon-style victory in the 2m½f novice handicap chase.

Frost took the ten-year-old to the head of the field as soon as the tapes dropped, allowing the 7-2 shot to get into an excellent rhythm from the front – a position they never relinquished.

Previously rated 135 over hurdles, the veteran has taken a late switch to fences in his stride, winning his second chase in as many starts after victory at Stratford last month to begin something of a career renaissance at his advancing age.
