It had already been quite a week for Bryony Frost, who stole the show when making only her second trip to London for a media event promoting Saturday's Ladbrokes Trophy and has her Badger Ales Trophy winner Present Man to look forward to in the big race, but a handicap hurdle success for her dad Jimmy made it extra special.

Frost has had much bigger winners, notably Pacher Du Plolder at Cheltenham in March, not to mention the Clydesdale from which she did a flying dismount at Exeter on Sunday, but she was buzzing after steering Triple Chief to a three-quarter-length win.

She explained: "Riding winners for dad and all his connections is just class, and we thought he had a massive squeak down off that mark and with my claim.
