Trainer Roy Bowring's trip to the dentist to have some teeth extracted would have seemed a whole less painful following the win of Foolaad in the feature £25,000 5f handicap.

The seven-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable run since winning at Newcastle in March 2017, for this was his eighth and most valuable win and his fifth on the trot having racked up a four-timer during the winter on Southwell's Fibresand.
