Five-star Cox continues hot run with double

On an afternoon when her boss William Haggas sent out four winners, Georgia Cox continued a winning streak of her own, extending her winning run to five with a double at Epsom.

Making the most of her opportunities over nine days, Cox began the run with a double at Bath on August 31, struck again at Brighton on Monday and at Epsom was unerring on Sarangoo in the 7f handicap and the Haggas-trained Shufoog in the 1m2f handicap.

Three of the winners were for Haggas and two for Sarangoo's trainer Malcolm Saunders for whom she goes for a six-timer on Bath winner Silverrica in the second race at Sandown today.
