Willie Mullins raised the temperature of the jumps season in Ireland by sending out a four-timer, the pick of which was Champion Bumper winner Ferny Hollow in the 2m maiden hurdle.

This was no cakewalk for Ferny Hollow. In Bob Olinger, he faced a stern test on his hurdling debut but passed with flying colours to win by a length under Paul Townend.

That win was secured after Youmdor made light work of his rivals in the opening juvenile hurdle.
