Fellowes picks Fairyhouse for first stakes success as Moonlit steals show

Fairyhouse was probably not the place Charlie Fellowes expected to enjoy his first stakes success but the home of the Irish Grand National proved the perfect stage for Moonlit Show to dazzle as she landed the Listed Blenheim Stakes in the manner of a rapidly-improving filly.

The promising Newmarket trainer was a few miles down the road at Goffs trying to find the next Moonlit Show but he was surely watching on as Billy Lee gave a masterclass on how to take full advantage of an easy lead.

The Limerick rider is enjoying his best ever season and Moonlit Show brought him within one dart of a bullseye, a target he hot later on the card with Roconga.
