She beat the boys at Cheltenham and Punchestown but Gordon Elliott feels Fayonagh would be better sticking to her own sex this season and nominated the Trull House Stud Mares' Novices' Hurdle as his preferred Cheltenham target.

BoyleSports introduced her into that market as their 3-1 favourite, while the same firm cut her into 10-1 from 12-1 for the Supreme following a pretty flawless first start over hurdles.

Elliott said: "I'm a big believer in winning what you can win so, at the moment anyway, the mares race at Cheltenham would be the plan.
